With the rapid development of the Internet technology, a wide variety of applications are used in the enterprise, such as email system, OA management system and financial management system. Each application has its own authentication module. However the more applications you used, the more numbers of user name and password you need to remember accurately even they easily make user confused. What’s more, the users need to re-enter the user name and password every time he accesses each application system. It is very inconvenient to use, and the password easily be retailed which may cause unimaginable loss. It can cause huge losses to the enterprise. Thus, developing a uniform user management and Single Sign-On system has vital and realistic meaning. In order to meet the requirements of a company, this paper implements the uniform user management and single sign-on system. This system achieves the function of authentication, and the user information management combined centralized and decentralized methods. The main works of this paper are as follows:It firstly explains the research status, background and significances. Then, do a detail requirement analysis for the system from the aspect of functional and non-functional requirements. According to the results of the requirement analysis, the paper offers a solution of the unified authentication and single sign-on. After that we design and achieve functions for each subsystem according to the system overall design. Finally, test the system. This system is developed based on the framework Struts, SpringDM, and OSGi. It combines the advantages of each framework. So the system has a lower coupling feature between the system modules while it offers a good maintainability and scalability. Currently, the system is on-line.
