Nowadays, with the rapid development of mobile Internet, mobile intel-ligent terminal market is also developing quickly. The mobile phones are be-coming more widespread and powerful. They have provided much convenience and become the necessities of people’s life. At the same time, they also s-tore a large amount of information about users’personal information, such as contacts, messages, photos and other private information. Once these private information leak out, it will bring inestimable loss to users. The number of peo-ple who use Android devices is becoming more and more and a large number of malicious software appear on Android because of the openness of the plat-form. Once the malware infects mobile phones, it will collect users’privacy information in the background. Not only the malicious software, but also some common applications will collect private data of mobile terminal. Therefore, to research privacy protection on Android mobile terminal is quite meaningful and valuable.The main goal of this thesis is to deeply analyse the existed mobile phone privacy protection techniques and the strategy how security software protec-t privacy data. Then put forward a new practical effective solution blocking the way of privacy leak, to protect key private data based on Android mobile phones. And it will design and implement a privacy protection prototype sys-tem.Firstly, this thesis gives a brief introduction to the related backgrounds, research content, main tasks and architecture of this paper; and then it analyses the Android system architecture, application components and the method of data storage; then it summarizes and classifies privacy information of mobile phone according to the characteristics of the Android platform, and studies the Android privacy protection techniques; then it analyses the existed mobile phone privacy protection techniques and provide a more.effective solution to protect private data, especially the most important personal data for users. This solution has some features, such as high reliability, overall protection, working in the application layer but achieving the same effect as in the under layer. A privacy protection prototype system is designed and implemented. Finally test and verify the prototype system.The result shows that the prototype system can protect key privacy data on Android mobile phones which have not been rooted.
