In recent years, with the emergence of smart phones, mobile operators are faced with the explosive growth of data services. Followed by decline in voice service, overall profits of mobile operators are still growing with the popularity of mobile phones. The growth has tended to be slow, and single-user profits also decreased, indicating that mobile operators profit growth is not proportional to the number of users. Based on this, mobile operators will certainly take measures to reduce costs, reduce energy consumption and take other measures to ensure continued profitable growth. In order to reduce cost, C-RAN technology has become the one of great importance for mobile operators.C-RAN baseband pool with remote radio unit separation distributed system is focused on the business of signal processing and simplifying the performance of each base station. The base station is able to concentrate its resources and reduce cost. In this paper, new C-RAN architecture has been proposed. RF signals will be transmitted in fiber link, which can still be able to reduce more cost.A variety of traffic signal transmission in fiber link at C-RAN are researched, the results of the main work are as follows.a. LTE signals and WIFI signalsThis part is to lay the foundation for the subsequent study. Since the study is the integration of different traffic signal to be transmitted in optical fiber, it is necessary to select LTE technology and WIFI technology as samples to study. This section describes the theory of modulation, demodulation technology. By MATLAB simulation, two kinds of signal are produced, which lay foundation for later research.b. Factors affecting fiber communicationThis paper is focused on the factors affecting fiber communication. The fiber chromatic dispersion and channel crosstalk between signals were mainly studied. Clear pulse caused by fiber chromatic dispersion effect and the walk-off effect in the fading amplitude, and the same frequency crosstalk. Develop different sideband transmission to complete simulation of the optical signal in the fiber link by demodulating the signals. Compare eye diagrams and analyze the advantages of each order sideband signal transmission.c. C-RAN systemIn this paper, the simulation system builds C-RAN fiber link. Chose sideband to carry signals based on the impact of different sideband transmission. Proposed solutions of SSB optical signal transmission, greatly reducing the dispersion on systemic abuse. Simulation analysis of crosstalk effects on the same frequency transmission system verifies the feasibility of the system solution.
