The Internet of Things for Building Equipment is using the technology of Internet of things, and integrating the building’s electrical equipment together, forming one complex network. As the number of equipment is constantly increasing, the amount of data increases gradually, the traditional relational database cannot deal with the mass data in the Internet of things, the problem of throughput and timeliness of data cannot meet the requirements becomes more and more prominent. In order to solve the above problem, the real-time database is going to be used in the Internet of things for building equipment.Firstly, this paper makes research on the Internet of things for building equipment, real-time database and other related technologies and specifications, clears the concepts and characteristics, analyzes the related technologies from function and application area, and makes sure the design goals of the Internet of things for building electrical equipment and real-time database.According to the demand of electric equipment for data processing, combining with the technology of the Internet of things, this paper gives one design method about massive data processing of real-time database which is oriented to the electric equipment of the building. This paper divides the real-time database into three parts, which includes field interface adaptation layer, real-time database core and application interface layer, and gives the functional division and designation of each layer.In the design of field interface adaptation layer of the system, in order to improve the stability of the system, various communication interfaces are designed and operated with independent software; multi-thread technique is used in the felid of communication and data processing to improve the performance of the system; and it designs and achieves the communication protocol of network nodes. In the design of real-time database core, it adopts methods of object-oriented data organization to design the structure of real-time database; according to the characteristics of the Internet of things for building equipment, this paper analyzes and designs the data format; and it organizes and manages the memory, establishes the memory buffer pool to achieve the creation and management of memory buffer, and using memory mapping and memory sharing technology to achieve the mass data processing and memory data transmission; and it puts the transaction scheduling algorithm to use in real-time database transaction scheduling; what’s more, it uses data compression algorithm to achieve the compression and storage of historical data. In the application interface adaptation layer, the function is packaged into interface, which is provided as services to the clients, it uses the SOAP protocol based XML for data transmission, and achieves data transmission across the platform.Finally, the application examples were given, the processing ability of the system was tested, and the content of this paper has a good effect to improve the data throughput and timeliness of the Internet of things for building equipment.
