Design And Implementation Of Oracle Audit System Based On TNS Protocol

Oracle as a relational database supports mass data. It’s widely used in financial, communications, transportation, retail and other industries and fields. For a long time, the database security problems are paid much attention to it, but the database security accidents occur frequently. As a result, the Oracle database audit is very important influence to the security of data.The work of this thesis includes three primary aspects,1. The background and significance of database audit are researched. The current situation and the common methods of database audit are introduced and analyzed.2. The functional requirements and software performance requirement of Oracle audit system is researched. For the four types of potential risk, the design principles and the system structure of Oracle audit system are described and designed.3. The key part of Oracle audit system is designed and implemented, like login module, input and output audit module of the audit gateway.The Oracle database audit gateway system is designed and implemented. Providing an effective technical method to parse the Oracle’s TNS protocol, record the whole user operations, achieve more flexibility database audit strategy and improve the security of the database.
