Research And Implementation Of Android Based Smartphone And Smart TV Integration System

With the rapid development of smartphone hardware, smartphones carrying capacity and application scenarios are constantly expanding, especially entertainment capacity has been significantly improved. At the same time, Smart TV, which has similar hardware architecture, operating system, application framework and ecosystem, has become home interactive entertainment center. Therefore, a smartphone and smart TV operating system integration technology can converted smartphone to mobile entertainment center bring new entertainment experience.This thesis work mainly includes:(1) In-depth study of the principles of virtualization and its key components implementation technology, such as, CPU virtualization, memory virtualization and I/O virtualization.(2) For the needs of smartphones and smart TV integration, this thesis innovative presents a method to realize smartphone and smart TV operating system integration through virtualization technology, and gives the design goals and basic functional requirements. Among them, for mobile processors, memory and IO virtualization presents specific design ideas and methods, and implemented the integration system based on Android operating system.(3) This thesis presents a method to implement smartphone and smart TV operation system virtualization and designed the communication architecture between smartphone and smart TV operating system. It’s implemented based on Android operating system.(4) This thesis describes how to install the integration system includes virtualization module, virtualized smartphone and smart TV operating system, and shows the performance test result on development board and smartphone device.This study introduced virtualization technology to mobile device and designed smartphone and smart TV integration system for entertainment smart mobile devices. It enables smartphone and smart TV operation systems to run on top of one standard smartphone hardware, and the dual systems can fusion display, fast switching, communication and control. This make the smartphones become portable entertainment center, which making non-smart TV users can enjoy the interactive TV through their smartphones.
