The Internet has developed at a high speed over the past20years and become anindispensable tool for society. With the development of the Internet, the habit-formation ofInternet users, few traditional television resources and fixed playing time have been difficultto meet the requirements for access to information. Users are more willing to choose a servicemodel which can open the webpage at any time and click their favorite programs or movies.The birth and development of video websites, just to meet the wish of users’ quickconsumption. It appears to increase the users’ terminal selection of watching programs andconstantly changes the viewing habits of users at the same time, which make users becomemore active and initiative. Through it, users can freely choose on-demand videos, animationsand variety shows to share favorite programs with their friends, even upload homemadeprograms, and no longer subject to the program schedule, which greatly enhances the userexperiences.Better user experiences, richer resource selection and freer way of viewing make thecompetition really fierce since the birth of video websites,. Competition of resources andbattle of copyright make a variety of popular programming resources scattered in differentvideo websites, so that users have to turn from one video website to another, browsing andsearching their favorite programs, which wear down users’ patience and viewing desirestremendously. Therefore, users hope to establish a website with more abundant resources thatcan make them to watch their favorite programs more easily.This paper design and implement a Content-aggregation Website based on the content ofevery video websites, integrating high-quality resources of the whole network, so users onlyneed to care about what them want and needn’t worry about where to watch, which reallyrealize one-stop viewing.We build a Web system through J2EE, then collect current popular television programs bymanually editing selection and automated data collection, and finally establish a video library,that is how the system works. By PostgreSQL which is a relational database, The systemstores relevant information about the movie and users, establishes a powerful search functionwith the introduction of Hibernate Search, and indexes the Chinese words segmentation frommultiple dimensions like movie titles or brief introduction to match the search. More comprehensive movie resources, more intelligent and multi-dimensional search function, aswell as a initiative selection of popular recommendation solve the difficulities of users’choicewhen faced the massive resources and the puzzle of where to watch, which greatly improvesthe quality of service and increase user viscosity.
