With the continuous development of science and technology, electrical andelectronic equipment emerged more and more programmable instruments andequipment remotely controlled by computer, good communication betweencomputer and peripheral equipment has become the main research topic in the fieldof electronic appliances. Because the data communication between moderntechnology leads to more and more computers and peripheral equipment, more andmore complex data types, the communication requirements more and more high, thetraditional means of communication has gradually can not adapt to the current rapiddevelopment of electronic technology, In this case, the USB with itsunique fast, flexible and convenient use, support hot swappable advantages quicklyoccupied the communication industry market. Since then, the serial communicationbus technology in computer communications and automatic control has been widelyused.This paper first analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of a seriesof constant currentdriver of semiconductor laser, and put forward the bottleneck ofsemiconductor laser constant current driver face according to the current researchstatus at home and abroad, put forward to solve this problem the objective necessityand urgency. While learning simple microcontroller technology and serialcommunication theory, to understand the basic features of the USB bus systems,communication protocols and other basics, master the basic principles andprocedures for USB communication, in the laboratory of the original ProgrammableInstruments semiconductor laser constant current drive Based on the design is complete PC control of the semiconductor laser constant current drive.This paper focuses on the working principle and operation modeof semiconductor laser constant current source, based on the originalhardware environment, the use of MFC programming module in the objectoriented programming is successfully compiled with the system software ofPC control function, reached by the remote control of a computer semiconductorlaser constant current driver purpose. At the same time, this paper the application ofthe PC control software, a constant current source to work under different operatingmodes current is sampled and the data obtained using MATLAB processing andanalysis, to achieve stability study of a constant current source.
