With the development of technology of wireless communication, multimedia services appear a trend of rapid development. The popularity of smart terminals promote that the main wireless-communication services transforming from the traditional voice-based business to the data-based business. The changes of the volume and forms of the services lead to the increasing demands of the high data rate services, which results in an explosive growing trend of mobile data services. In response to this trend,3GPP proposes the heterogeneous networks (HetNets), which transmits the low-power node into the traditional coverage of the macro base station. The heterogeneous networks form a double network and further narrow the distance between the user and the base station. In this paper, on the issue of access and interference management, the scheme of access and Coordinated Multi-point in uplink Macro-Pico HetNets have been researched deeply. Networking and key technologies of HetNets also have been introduced. And the previous access and Coordinated Multi-point have been summarized and analyzed, on basis of which new scheme of access and Coordinated Multi-point have been proposed. In the study of access, aiming at performance improvement and load balance, extend the coverage of Small Cell by setting up the threshold of base station and the weight of users. The numerical results demonstrate that the proposed access scheme could shift the overload of Macro to Pico and improve the performance of uplink HetNets. In the study of Coordinated Multi-point, aiming at performance improvement, the classification scheme of coordinated users has been proposed, combining the proposed access scheme. For each coordinated user, the schemes of coordinated base station, user scheduling and resource allocation have also been proposed. The numerical results demonstrate that the proposed Coordinated Multi-point scheme could make full use of resources and improve the performance.
