Research On Access Control Models And The Application In Network Information System

As the network represented by the Internet has been making differences to the social life comprehensively, it becomes more common for sharing the resources by all kinds of ways, especially the sharing of the information. Information security has become the focus of the research among scholars due to the convenience brought by the informatization, so the effective access control methods are urgently needed. Meanwhile, along with the deepening of the information progress, the applications of network information system get widespread applied in promoting the enterprises informatization and e-commerce which makes the access control being a direct influence on the development of an enterprise. Access control has been an attractive topic, as it is a significant part in the information security system and one of the key strategies of network security and resources protection, which can explicitly allow or limit the access abilities and the visiting scope of the object. Therefore, it is of great importance to use access control methods in the managing of the security of network information system.Then, do targeted research on access control both in its basic theories and model investigation, what’s more, put forward a new universal access control model and apply it to the control of network information system will make sense. These researches will not only contribute in the implementation of access control, but also in the aspect of innovation. Still, the specific application can be used to verify the practical engineering ability of the new model. The paper systematically introduces the basic theories and models of access control. Throughout analyzing, a new model named RBAC-HA is innovated and then it will be applied to a network information system in order to verify its practical engineering ability. The main works are shown as follows:[1] By doing research on access control theories and main models, the paper summaries and compares the characters of each models.[2] According to the previous studies, a new role based access control model is put forward which is of high availability, especially in network information system.[3] Applying the RBAC-HA model in the access control of the information management system for universities, the functions and design details are introduced to prove the ability of the new model.
