As the development of HF communication technique requires more about the receive mode and structure of communication system, SDR system gains more and more attention in recent years with the advantages of flexible and configurable. In this paper, the implementation of HF communication system and the multi-mode HF SDR transceiver have been studied and accomplished. Designing three structured processor, narrow-band multi-mode processor, wide-band channel processor, application control processor, this paper gives the basic platform framework. The FPGA designs of each processor with performance and resource consumption have been given out in this paper.In this paper, it implements the narrow-band multi-mode processor with SSB and FM/FSK, and then gives the software-configurable interface. For the narrow-band demodulation part, the theoretical derivation and simulation are given and its FPGA implement is provided; for the channel spectrum analysis part, used to monitor each sub-channel in the whole wide-band channel and acted as a part of intelligent perception.The implementation of FPGA design for wide-band channel processor is studied for the hardware realization. In order to exploit the parallel advantage of FPGA, this paper applies polyphase network and FFT to achieve the processor. Comparing the performance and resource consumption of filter banks and FFT method, this paper chooses the FFT method. The structures of polyphase and Matlab simulation have been given out in this paper. The implementation processes of design for PCI-E driver and the SPI interface between DSP and FPGA are studied respectively for the application control processor. Finally, this paper gives number of optional programs and future planning.
