The3D modeling of orebody is one of the core contents of digital mineconstruction. Aimed at the actual situation of the incomplete modeling data of the orebody.In addition, the situation of gently inclined and thin layer output of it inShanghengshan mine area, we have used ArcGIS as a software platform to discuss3Dmodeling of orebody method. The main achievements are as follows:(1) We summarized the progress of research on3D modeling technology of ore-body at home and abroad, and introduced the data interpolation methods of3Dorebody modeling and the research status of different types of3D orebody model andthe software platform for3D modeling of ore body.(2) In order to determine the pinchout of orebody properly, we instituted the ruleof adding pinch-out virtual borehole and used the method of four-point interpolation toencrypt pinch-out virtual borehole according to the situations of orebody distribution.To solve the problem that borehole data is sparse, and guarantee both the accuracy anddelicacy of3D orebody model, we studied the method of adding smooth virtual drillingin exploration line profiles and proposed a weighted method of Nautural NeighborInterpolation based on Thiessen polygon area to estimate attribute information ofsmooth virtual drilling. By leave one out cross validation,it proved that the improvedmethod of Nautural Neighbor Interpolation in this study was more effective.(3)We studied the ore body surface TIN building method by using the explorationline profile and discussed the solution in different situations such as difference ofprofile contour is relatively large, little shape difference and existing branches. Theresult showed that the TIN model of the orebody surface could greatly reflect thecharacteristics of the orebody shape and be applied to the TIN modeling of the orebodyin the mine area.(4)In order to meet the requirements of modeling in adding the grade property inorebody, we researched the GTP orebody model building method based on the TIN model. In addition, we probed the numbering problems of elements of GTP voxel andthe establishing problems of their topological relations in the voxel. At the same time,We designed an orebody database with GTP model and established the model of TINcombined with GTP.
