Research And Application On Disabled And Restricted Substances Management And Control Technology Of Refrigeration Electrical Appliances

China currently has become the world’s largest manufacturer and exporter ofrefrigeration electrical appliances such as r efrigerators, air conditioners and otherappliances. As the development of industries, we have also noticed that developedcountries and regions represented by the United States and European Union havePromulgated and implemented a number of green, environmentally themedregulations in recent years, directives for the needs of environmental protection andthe protection of related industries in the region. A variety of harmful substances,hazardous chemicals that used in electrical and electronic products has been madestringent requirements, objectively formed a kind of green trade barriers to ourrefrigeration electrical appliances industries.On the basis of describing the status quo of the production and export of China’srefrigeration electrical appliances, We consulted and analysised literature about greenlaws and regulations at home and abroad. In connection with the green trade barriersbased on g reen laws and regulations of the in developed countries, highlightingdirectives specific provisions of harmful substances and hazardous chemicals in aseries of regulations represented by the EU RoHS Directive, REACH regulations. Theregistration process of REACH regulation and the Chinese government andrefrigerating appliances enterprises work and the general response strategy of theREACH regulation was introduced in detail. And so is the deficiency of the existingstrategy. It is suggested that refrigeration electrical appliances industries shoulddevelop new materials to replace technology research by using the method of greendesign in product design phase, makes the response of green trade barriers to moreefficient and accurate by establishing the perfect disabled and restricted substancescontrol system.Based on the above research work, we have developed a disabled and restrictedsubstances management and control system that which is in connection withrefrigeration electrical appliances. The system has a collection of domestic andforeign related laws and regulations, instructions data, and it is developed to helpenterprises to establish the green supply chain, realize the effective control to disablerestricted substances. At last, by running instance, we verified the effectiveness of thesystem.
