Research Of Data Center Equipment Management System Design Based On RFID Technology

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) has been widely used as an intelligent recognition method. However, the data center still adopts the traditional paper-based labels to recognize network jumper of the equipment. Besides, it manages the connections among equipments through the manual record and query means, which are really low efficient and error prone. This paper presents a recognition method of equipment by using radio frequency identification technology, combined with the technology of Web service based on B/S structure, to build a data center equipment management system, complete the automatic identification of data center equipment and network, and realize the function of equipment information adjunction, query and maintenance.The system has two parts, including RFID handheld terminal and the Web server. The RFID reader uses AT89S51MCU as the main control chip, supporting ISO14443protocol. It can realize the reading and writing for the electronic label at high frequency of13.56MHz. It also works as a terminal connected to the Android phone through USB interface, controlled by the Android host computer. The host computer also can access the Web server through the browser, then web server completes the interaction with the database in background, and return the results to the RFID handheld terminal, finally realizes the data management of the equipment information.The Web server applies the B/S structure, using JSP to design the front-end and interact with the database. The client only needs to access it using the browser, eventually realizes the remote management and control of the equipment.
