With the development of science and technology, small cryogenic refrigerator has been widely used in communications, military, meteorology, earth resources exploration, aerospace, medical, electronics, micro-particles and other scientific fields.The subject background of the paper is that providing a state low-temperature environment for the electronic devices, such as microelectronics devices, infrared devices, superconducting filters and so on. The temperature range is80K-120K. The paper studied the temperature control algorithm and designed the low-temperature controller. For the required control effect, the temperature control effect curves were analyzed.The paper described the classification and status of small refrigerator; detailed the history of the development of pulse tube refrigerator; described the cryocooler’s principle and linear compressor driven pulse tube cryocooler’s structure; proposed a mathematical model of the object temperature; described the temperature control system hardware system.As the study of the temperature controller, the control object has the parameters uncertainty and pure time delay. It’s very difficult to establish accurate mathematical model of control object. The paper introduced the intelligent PID control algorithm as a research direction. Through the temperature control box temperature control system simulation, the paper compared the traditional PID control and fuzzy PID control, neural network PID control and their different control features; studied the traditional PID control and intelligent PID control advantages and disadvantages; at last the paper proposed the optimal controller.
