Switched descriptor system is a type of special hybrid system. At present it is an international forward research direction of hybrid system and is taken widely attention. Its developing involves system and control system, computer science, modern mathematics, physics and manage science and so on. Compared with normal switched system, its sub-systems are normal linear or nonlinear descriptor system. For some different kinds of switched systems, the state feedback has tremendous superiority to improve the system control performance which is priority consideration using for any kinds of systems synthesis problems. In recent years, there are many remarkable research results at the stability analysis and control design, based on Lyapunov function approaches and convex combinations techniques, both the stability and design problem are all adopt state feedback and static state feedback to research. In many reality problems, if use the output feedback or through design dynamic compensator to attain the function of close-loop system, which choose the output feedback to control the systems is more feasibility. In addition, with the linear system H∞control theoretical develops and integrity, H∞control study has been the one of the hottest issue of control theory. This paper researches the design problem for a class of dynamic compensator of switched descriptor system. Firstly, it describes continuous time switching descriptor systems, gives a class of switched descriptor system dynamic compensator definitions and design method, with the existence conditions and switching rules of selecting mode. By using the linear matrix inequality conclusions and proofing to show the feasibility of the results.
