With the rapid development of ICT technology in recent, the application of them has becomeincreasingly wide, including Internet of Things, cloud computing and service-oriented softwaretechnology. The software system plays a more important role in the social life and many fields. Thesoftware system plays a more important role in the social life. Many large information systems’function and scale are becoming more and more complex, and the association between theinformation systems has developed from oneness to the direction of diversification. Somelarge-scale application software systems, such as Internet of things application, sensor networkapplication, have been developing from traditional single, closed systems to open and integrationSystem of systems.How to design, develop and maintenance this large, complex information system (large-scaleapplication software systems) better has become the hot research spot. The concept of System ofsystems and framework approach mentioned in this paper is an official response to this concern.This paper focuses on the materialization and formalization method of the description on theprocess of system evolution, aimed at studying the system and the System of systems deeply,grasping the characteristics of life cycle stages and the composition better, so as to maintain thestability in the evolution of the System of systems and meet changing business goals. Frameworkmethod has been widely applied in software systems engineering and the description of the system.This paper applies the framework method and abstract theory into the evolution process of softwaresystem, described the formalization and materialization of the system evolution with frameworkmethod. This paper uses the theory of algebra to descript the framework abstractly, transforms theevolution of the systems into an abstract expression operation, which is very important to grasp theformalization and concretization in the system evolution process. Finally this paper takes anillustration of Frameworx system framework to prove the above methods.
