Border Gateway Protocol (Border Gateway Protocol, BGP) as the defacto standard inter-domain routing protocol, is responsible for exchange network reachability information with other BGP systems, and maintain mutual connection between the large-scale network, protocol execution efficiency will directly affect the performance of the upper layer applications. However, with the rapid growth of Internet-scale expansion and network applications, the rapid growth of the number of sessions neighbors, the number of BGP routing updates are increasing, and this update has a strong burst. These issues greatly affect the efficiency of the operation and implementation of BGP on the Internet, but the key to solving these problems is how to more effectively improve the execution performance of BGP. Double controller as a new controller has a very bright future and role in the current Internet. This article studies distributed BGP routing protocol based on one of the latest of double distributed controller of SDN framework (Kandoo controller). Specific studies are as follows.: firstly, introducing the BGP routing protocol detail and analyzing the research status of distributed control plane architecture, doing a simple introduction to the basic principles of BGP and Kandoo double controllers; secondly, improving the double controller innovative, and extending the functionality of the controller, making the distributed BGP routing protocol can be implemented in the new control architecture; and thirdly, based on the research of other scholars of load balancing algorithms, the paper puts forwards an adaptive algorithm which is more suitable for this research through the analysis of specific implementation for distributed BGP; and fourthly, under the premise of activity and safety, and designed a new switch migration mechanism to ensure the distributed BGP load balancing implementation.Finally, through scalability experiments of distributed BGP protocol, the paper can get following conclusions:overloading problem which is encountered by a single BGP entity can be effectively solved through the BGP routing protocol based on double controller, can effectively improve the execution performance of BGP.
