Encryption technology is mainly through mathematical or physical means to change secretinformation into unreadable ciphertext, but this can cause attacker’s curiosity easily, and it is easyto be intercepted and deciphered by the attacks during transmission. Once the ciphertext isdeciphered, its contents are completely transparent, and even if the attacker can not decipher theciphertext, information may also be destroyed, so that authorized recipients can not read theciphertext. Information hiding technology can solve some deficiencies of encryption technologyto a certain extent for its unique characteristics. It embedded secret information into public carrier,making it difficult for the attacker to discover the existence of secret information, and meanwhilemaking it almost impossible to detect the carrier’s hidden secret information from thecommunication channel with massive data. To increase the difficulty of deciphering, we can alsoencrypt secret information before embedding it to a public carrier. Information hiding technologyhas gradually become one of the hot fields of information security.After doing some in-depth research on the theoretical basis, the state of the art and relatedtechnology about information hiding. This thesis is absorbed on information hiding technologybased on grey prediction and grey relational analysis of grey system theory, and proposed twoimage information hiding algorithms. The first is a grey image information hiding algorithmbased on improved grey prediction model (IGPM) and double-dimensional grey relationalanalysis (DGRA), the algorithm selected the blocks of rich texture in cover image, and embeddedsecret information after encrypted it combined with the improved grey prediction model andprinciple of time division multiplexing. The second is a color image blind information hidingalgorithm based on improved grey prediction model and double-dimensional grey relationalanalysis, this algorithm does not need original carrier image when it extracts secret information,with increased confusion of hiding algorithm. Finally, through a series of simulation experimentsit shows that the two algorithms not only have good transparency, but also have good robustnessand capacity.
