There are a lot of problems of the traditional temperature fire detector and smog fire detector.Now, although there are some automatic positioning or video fire control system, it is themisdeclaration and missing report that resolutely exist. This paper presents control system designof directional fire monitor based on video, on the basis of existing fire recognition algorithm andfire monitor. First of all, the paper put forward the overall design scheme. And then this papermainly introduced the design of the fire flame recognition algorithm and the fire monitorlocalization algorithm and so on. At the same time, this paper designed the appropriate controlsystem, according to the design requirements. The main contents of this dissertation are asfollows:Firstly, this paper analyzed the research status of the flame recognition algorithm, and putforward the flame recognition algorithm based on the fire comprehensive characteristics aiming atthe deficiency of the existing algorithms. This paper mainly researched the analytical andextraction methods of color characteristic, static characteristic and dynamic characteristic of fireflame.And the paper designed recognition algorithm base on the dynamic fuzzy logic model forthe fire flame identification. By experimental verification, the recognition rate of this paper’smethods was higher than before.Secondly, this paper put forward the synchronous camera on the basis of the existing firemonitor, and analysed the characteristics of this kind of installation method. The paper putforward the centerline positioning method and point-angle conversion positioning method basedon video features of synchronized cameras. It improved the reliability of the system. Through thetesting experiment, it was proved that the method can drive fire monitor quickly location anddirectional jet. It can achieve the purpose of rapid outfire.Thirdly, this paper designed the electric control part of the fire monitor system, according tothe design requirements of this subject, fire monitor system of mechanical structure andperformance characteristics of the electronic components. The system mainly included the fire monitor control circuit, stepper motor drive circuit, electromagnetic valve drive circuit, andpower supply circuit, etc.At last, this paper has done some corresponding tests for the recognition system and thehardware control system through the experiments. And on VC6.0platform this paper designed afire detection system based on video platform which is realized on the basis of the abovealgorithms. On the platform, it can identify the fire flame and give prompt message.
