With the development of science and technology, embedded technology improved,people have become increasingly demanding embedded, so engineers multimediatechnology into embedded products go, so embedded multimedia embedded productsbecome indispensable Software. Since the free open source Linux operating system, formany reasons across multiple platforms, has a dominant position in the embedded field. Inthe end multimedia mobile application embedded technology, embedded systems can playa wide range of advantages.The decoder is embedded media player is a key technology, Mplayer can beconsidered an excellent multimedia player, and it is open source, Which player can be usedin all major operating systems, such as Linux systems, Windows and Mac OS X systems.Since Mplayer itself offers a variety of types of decoders, which can be a lot of executableand native codec support, support to play the majority of audio and video files. Because ofthe open-source software decoding Mplayer powerful decoding format a lot, and can runwell on embedded Linux systems, portability and scalability are very good. Therefore, thechoice of the player as herein decoding software.Describes the knowledge embedded systems and ARM microprocessors, embeddedLinux systems studied in transplant ARM microprocessor technology, includingtechnology related to the establishment of cross-compiler environment, transplantembedded Linux kernel and root file established system, and to achieve the embeddedLinux development board mini2440transplant. In the player graphical interface, the use ofQt/Embedded player interface for the foundation design features. Mplayer codecs chosenas the player, decoder, and realized compiled Mplayer, and transplant. By optimizing thedesign of the WMA decoder to achieve smooth playback of audio and video. By comparingseveral common graphical interface tools, paper selects Qt/Embedded as the playerinterface design tools to achieve the basic functions of the player.
