With fast development of wireless communication and terminal products, ultra-wideband (UWB)technology has very significant advantages in short distance wireless communication field, whichpromote the miniaturization and integration of ultra-wideband antennas’ design. While usingpolarization diversity technology to realize frequency reuse can effectively improve thecommunication efficiency. Based on the trend of the industry’s development, embedded UWBpolarity diversity antenna has very important research value.In this thesis, based on the microstirp structure and in order to design easy integrated andomnidirectional UWB dual-polarized diversity antennas, efforts have been made on reducingmutual coupling between antenna units and improving impedance bandwidth. At last, severalantennas with good performance have been put forward. The mainly works include:(1) By analyzing the broadband principle of microstrip monopole and wide slot antenna,combined with miniaturization design thought, two UWB antennas are designed. Combining ofthese two antennas and making their polarization mode orthogonal, a compact UWB dual-polarizeddiversity antenna is acquired.(2) By researching antenna’s structure model to improve polarization purity, a novel doublemedium hexagonal slot UWB dual-polarized diversity antenna is designed. Then, to reduceantenna’s reactive energy storage, the slot and feed structure are turned into circle structure and abandwidth enhanced circle wide slot diversity antenna is got. Finally a single layer diversityantenna model is put forward and contrasted with the double-layer structure antenna.(3) The impedance bandwidth and radiation performance of the fabricated antennas are measuredand analyzed, and measurement results have valid verified the ultra wideband and omnidirectionalradiation performance of the designed antennas.
