With the growing maturity of computer communication technology, Modern call centers have developed from the initial-based PBX (Private Branch Exchange) Call Center to multifunctional system based onnetwork technology,computer technology, database technology, telecommunications technology and Internet technology.For the modern call center, the structure of pure software implementation based on open source software Asterisk and voice card, because of its low cost, high performance, have become lots of medium-sized and small enterprises’ the preferred gateway solution. For most users, it is necessary to have a convenient and simple visual interface. In order to facilitate the management of the gateway, easier to configure the gateway information and monitor the relay, we need to design a user-friendly gateway management system for the Asterisk-based gateway devices. This paper presents a gateway management system design and implementation according to the call center needs.First, this paper introduces the gateway management system research background, elaborated on the history and development of call center and application status of Asterisk software, and put forward practical significance of this topic, then made a detailed introduction of the gateway protocols and technology involved, the gateway is the switching equipment of call center and PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) network, protocol is the nature of the gateway, only by understanding the protocol, we can have a clear understanding of the call flow and working principle of gatewayThe gateway management system is designed in SCF (Server software Controling Framework)framework, it is a server-side program control framework. This gateway management system for the design and implementation will be divided into two parts in this paper. One is the environment building andfunction test of gateway background systems, focusing on the built environment, the configuration file parameters explain, achieving the basic functions of the gateway configuration, elaborating on No.7signaling cluster implementation. The second part is foreground visual interface design and implementation, it is onthe premise that we achieve the background gateway functions we provide users with a simple and convenient interface management functions, including basic parameter configuration function, gateway monitoring, system management module. Then making the concurrency and functional testing of gateway management system, we complete the gateway management system design and implementation work.Finally make a brief summary of the gateway management system design and implementation, and put forward requirements and expectations for the next step research work.
