The key issue in telecommunication system is to combine the contradicted characters validity, reliability and safety together, especially for military communication systems, for which timeliness as well as reliability are critical important. This paper was based on military communication needs and the most popular encoding technology and devices. The achievements were focused on communication simulation of Turbo codes and soft spread spectrum technology in the DSP platform. Advantages of Turbo codes and soft spread spectrum technology were combined together to present a practical communication solution.The main contribution of this paper are as follows:Focused on the Turbo encoding principle and performance simulation in3Gpp standards. Restructured the encoding and decoding parts of Turbo according to3Gpp standard. Achieved three different decoding methods, which can accommodate different delay requirements and accuracy requirements. Simulated and contrasted different channel coding, modulating as well as soft spread spectrum methods on Matlab and CCS platform. At last, with the help of my mentor, we rise up an new solution of telecommunication under serious environment. LS code&16QAM were introduced into soft spread spectrum method to ensure the system BER performance and utilize the channel capacity.
