Dynamic target identification, detection and tracking are the key parts of resent military reconnaissance warning system. It is also an important symbol of modernization, automation and intelligent of the system. Therefore, there are more stringent requirements to detect and identify suspicious dynamic target rely on the infrared technology, it has to ensure the high detection rate, and to make accurate judgment and alarm in the effective timeIn this paper infrared night vision and infrared detection technology applied to monitoring and alarming illegal border crossers, vehicles, and to warning and detecting military activities in the border region. The hidden infrared cameras installed in the particular border area are used to collect real-time infrared video information, and sent it to the central server through the wireless transmission module, and display the real-time monitoring information. System also provide a user application interface to detect and recognize the target from the real-time infrared video, if there are suspicious targets, such as vehicles, people and animals, system shows the detection result and do alarms.System hardware design is complete, and create the user application interface based on Matlab image processing module, which will receive the real-time infrared video information, detect and recognize dubious moving target, and determine the suspicious target and report an alarm timely.It is finished the infrared moving target detection and recognition algorism. According to the requirements of the relevant practical background, this paper provides a set of recognition technology solutions for practical dynamic infrared target. It will preprocess the infrared image, filter and remove the noise, enhance contrast and finish the detection of the moving target; And using image frames difference method, morphological expansion method and gray projection method to recognize the moving targets. According to the on-site verification, the system can do effective and reliable work and meet the expected requirements.
