Along with the rapid development of LTE network, the global commercialization of it has has already begun. It indicates that the era of LTE terminals has arrived. At present, a number of domestic and foreign mainstream chip manufacturers have spent a lot of energy andresources in the research and development of LTE chips, and several terminal manufacturers will introduce several LTE terminal products. As an indispensable tool in the R&D and production process, LTE communications test set is an important tool, which has been widely used in the processes of product design, manufacture and authentication. Demand for LTE communications test set is increasing because of the development of LTE terminal industry.LTE communications test set contains the hardware module and the software module.This article mainly focus on the measurement of PUCCH and PRACH signal quality, which are two important items of software module. These two measured items are employed to test the quality of PUCCH and PRACH signals transmited by LTE terminal.The contents of this paper are organized as follows:Firstly, the research background will be introduced to illustrate the main assignment and achievements. Secondly, I will illustrate the application of LTE communications test set, the structure of software and hardware LTE communications test set, the testing function of RF, the test requirements and quotas of the two measurement items. Thirdly, I will explain the research and implementation parts of the two measurement items. The research part includes the test point, the characteristics of time domain and frequency domain, the signal generation process. The implementation part includes test process, test algotithm. Fourthly, the verification of test algotithm will be introduced. The verification is divided into simulation verification and instrument verification. Finally, I will summarize this paper, and bring forward the development tendency of LTE communications test set and the aspects to be improved.All the achievements in this paper have been used in LTE communications test set, and the achievements extended the test function and improved the precision of LTE communications test set.
