Through introducing the IP switch briefly, it can be find IP switch have obviousadvantages. With the rapid development of the network, IP switches will be more and more widely used, therefore how to improve the quality of the signal through IP switch is a key issue to be resolved.This paper mainly introduces signal processing through IP switch from three areas:voice compression, echo cancellation and voice denoising.In the terms of voice compression, this paper takes G.729speech coding standard as anexample. Based on the introduction of its codec algorithms and optimizing its procedures, the performance of the codec algorithms can be improved. In the speech denoising, this paper selects wavelet thresholding method and optimizes the wavelet threshold function, which makes the denoised speech signal much closer the original speech signal. In the matter of echo cancellation, this paper improves adaptive algorithm is, resulting in better echo cancellation effect. In this paper, matlab simulation experiment is made to prove the program or the improved algorithm with better voice signal processing capabilities. From the speech compression, speech denoising, and echo cancellation,the quality of the voice call can be improved, so the speech signal from distal receiving much closer the speech signal of proximal end.
