With intelligent communication electronics, miniaturization, and evenminiature printed circuit boards are toward the high-performance, high-density,highly integrated, multi-layered, subtle direction of development. However,artificial-based detection methods, it is easy because of the subjective factors oreyestrain missed and false positives occur, the effectiveness and speed of detectionare difficult to meet the requirements of actual production. For this reason thedevelopment of an automatic detection system to replace manual inspection, hasgreat practical significance and market prospects. In this paper, through the visual image detection theory and technology researchand experimental design of automatic visual inspection system based on imageprocessing. The AOI system mainly consists of two parts, hardware and software.Hardware consists mainly of light elements, image collection unit, motion controlunit (table and controller), the host and display. Software system mainly refers toan image processing unit. This paper focuses on the image processing part of the automatic visualinspection systems. Detection preprocessing and main printed circuit board of theimage defect. Image preprocessing section describes the contents of the imageenhancement algorithms, image smoothing algorithms, binary image processing andother aspects of the image of the PCB were collected filtering, smoothing and otherprocessing. Part of the printed circuit board defect detection mainly for short-circuitand image projection, PCB stains, welding anti-polar components and componentslost FAQ defects such as chip capacitors using different algorithms proposedidentification scheme. And to verify the reliability of the various programs.
