With the proportion of aged population in china increased, cardiovascular disease, themorbidity of heart disease and other chronic disease is more and more high. Therefore, it isnecessary to provide long-term and real-time monitoring for the elderly health. Under thiscircumstance, an intelligent, portable wearable body sensor network with low power consumption,low cost is badly in need in the market.Wearable body sensor network (WBSN) is a wireless sensor network, which is composed of aseries of miniaturized biosensor with low power consumption. Based on s study of developmentstatus and relevant technologies of the WBSN, this paper gives a design and implementation of aWBSN system, which includes physiological parameter acquisition sub-system, communicationsub-system and central processing sub-system.The physiological parameter acquisition sub-system embraces three modules of three-leadECG signal, digital blood oxygen and temperature, which are used for acquiring and processingthe physiological parameters such as ECG signal, respiratory signal, oxyhemoglobin saturation,pulse rate and body temperature. In the ECG module, we provide and realize algorithms ofremoving baseline drift and power frequency interference to remove baseline drift of ECG signalcaused by the movement of monitoring people and the noise in the ECG signal. Based on theanalysis characteristics of respiratory signal, this paper designs the respiratory wave identificationalgorithm, which realizes identification of respiratory wave.The communication sub-system is used for wireless communication between thephysiological parameters acquisition sub-system and central processing sub-system. With the useof Bluetooth communication technology, this paper designs a set of realizable and steady datatransmission protocol which realizes module identification and permission validation, thusprovides a guarantee for accurate and real-time data transmission.The central processing sub-system is based on Android smart phone platform andestablishes bluetooth communication connection and realizes data receiving and processing, real-time detection of R wave and real-time data display and other functions. Besides, thesub-system can identify abnormal conditions of human body such as racing heart, slow respirationand lower oxyhemoglobin saturation and automatically trigger SMS or telephone notification.We measure a large number of people and the results show that the WBSN system canaccurately acquire physiological parameter information of human body. It achieves the desiredrequirements and has excellent reliability and practicability.
