The control software is developed for powertrain system of a crawler in this paper. Thedevelopment of powertrain control software is lack of standardization,scientific ways andkey technology. The model based powertrain software development is designed in thispaper to solve this problem. This method is based on the V mode development. TheAUTOSAR standard is combined in the development of the control software to design themethod of developing a powertrain control software.1.The torque based control strategy is used to analyse the need of the control software.By combining the software with the operation system and the needs, the structure is addedwith ways of how to be called; By distributing the inpute and outpute resourses, the finalstructure of the software is finished;2. The powertrain control software is designed by using the software componentlibrary and the structure of the software. The data of the powertrain system should be addedto adjust the control data of the software. The offline simulation platform is built bycombining the control software and the object model;3. The code of application layer is generated by using the model based automatic codegeneration method. After the offline simulation platform is built, the offline simulation,model in the loop simulation and the software in the loop simulation is conducted to makesure the accuraccy of the generating code;4. The RTE software layer built in this paper is based on the AUTOSAR standard.RTE realize the communication between application layer and application layer and thecommunication between application layer and underlying layer. RTE also use the operationsystem to realize the management of the application layer software;5. Two single-chip hardware platforms are used in this paper to complete thedevelopment of the control codes. The results of the hardware in the loop simulation provethe method of model based software development has a certain commonality and relativelyhigh efficiency.
