MIMO radar is a new radar system that has been proposed and widely researchedby researchers in recent years. It draws on the advantages of phased array radarsystem and integrated pulse aperture radar system, using plurality of spatialtransmit/receive unit, and transmitting orthogonal signals, to get spatial diversitycharacteristics and the degree of freedom. Meanwhile, the receiving units of MIMOradar use the advanced signal processing techniques. By matched filtering, digitalbeam-forming (DBF), moving target detection (MTD), constant false alarm rate(CFAR) and the speed/distance blur solution operation, MIMO radar gets accuratemeasurement of distance, direction, speed and other information of the targets withsuperior robustness. Therefore, the jamming technology of MIMO radar has becomean urgent problem. Based on the studying of the transmitting and receiving signalprocessing characteristics of MIMO radar and building the foundation of MIMO radarplatform, this paper researches the MIMO radar jamming methods. As there areseveral kinds of MIMO radar systems, this paper studies the interference method ofmono-static coherent MIMO radar.This paper firstly introduces the MIMO radar array arrangement, the transmittedsignal and the basic characteristics of the mathematical model, the receiving signalprocessing methods, and builds a MIMO radar experiment platform by MATLABsimulation. And the MIMO radar jamming methods is researched based on this. Thereare three kinds of deceive jamming, which are the false target jamming, the densefalse target jamming and the angle deception. This paper proposes this three kinds ofMIMO radar jamming methods, and fully confirms the validity of the proposedmethod through theoretical analysis and simulation experiments.
