As the prevalence of cloud computing, an increasing number ofservice providers are more willing to deploy their service on public cloudto reduce the cost on hardware maintenance. It is unsecure to outsourceall the data to the public cloud, especially the private data, so the datashould be encrypted before outsourcing to the cloud to protect the dataprivacy, in addition, the data outsourced to the cloud should also besearchable. At the meantime, the development of mobile cloud makes theencrypted search on mobile cloud becoming a serious problem. Thecurrent existing solutions are all good at preserving the security. But dueto the inherent attribute of resource-constrained mobile cloud, theseexisting encrypted search models are suitable for mobile cloud for theefficiency reason. This paper presents an encrypted search scheme formobile cloud. By taking bandwidth and computational ability intoconsideration, our encrypted search scheme is optimized from calculationand communication process, which makes the scheme more efficient andsuitable for mobile cloud. In addition, we have implemented the encrypted search scheme, and tested performance of each module whichproved the feasibility, correctness and efficiency of the whole schemeproposed in this paper.
