So far, the test method of China Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approvalis mainly based on conduction test, supplemented by means of radiation. Consideredit is not able to evaluate the active radiated power of the EUT by the traditional testmethod, it is quite necessary to develop current test means. OTA testing technology asa method of assessing the performance of radio equipment space techniques, throughthe air interface, achieves the testing of performance parameters of the RF equipment.OTA is a trend of RF devices testing technology. The paper concerns the design howto realize the automatic testing system to satisfy the requirement of radio frequencymanagement, which is an explore of new testing technology in this field.The subject is based on the requirement of automatic test system for radioequipment testing of Tianjin radio monitoring center, which is also a pioneer researchof the design of both hardware and software of OTA automatic test system. The OTAtest system is validated by the appropriate EUT, proved that it is able to satisfy therequirement of corresponding test.OTA testing technology as a new method of testing and evaluation, is able toadapt to the needs of new technologies and new products. This project will fill theblank of OTA testing technology in Tianjin, which also has important theoretical andpractical significance of promoting the development of new testing technology.
