The control technology of high-precision laser beam pointing stability is a hottopic for various national research institutions in recent years. With the continuousdevelopment of optical capture, targeting, monitoring, and tracking systems, theaccuracy of the laser beam pointing stability system is required higher and higher. How to eliminate vibration caused by various reasons is a key problem and it willdirectly affect the performance of the whole optical system. The thesis mainly studiesthe double FSM (Fast Steering Mirror) beam pointing stability system and eliminatedthe beam pointing error caused by laser jitter from the theoretical analysis. Itcompleted the compensation of the four free degrees of the beam about translationsand rotations. The two-dimensional PSD produced by Sitek company, which is belong toduo-lateral PSD, is used in the experiment. This paper proposes a design of signalprocessing circuit based on the Duo-lateral PSD and solved the defects that not easyto apply the reverse bias voltage. Position sensitive detector is a very important link inthe design of the whole experiment. In this paper, it analyzed the error sourcesaffecting PSD measurement and proposed the corresponding solutions. In the dual-FSM beam stabilization system, the mathematical relationship between PSDmeasuring displacement deviation and the deviation angle which FSM need tocompensate is calculated by optical path through specific analysis. After calculatingthe FSM control information which is given by IPC, the deflection of mirror iscontrolled and finally the task of laser beam pointing stability is completed. The entiredata acquisition and digital-analog conversion in the experiment is processed byA-823PGL.
