This paper uses virtual reality to introduce traditionalarchitectural genre in a modern way, and displays the architectural features andcultural connotations of Huizhou architecture of Wuyuan. It allows customers toobserve and understand the architectural structures and construction methods ofHuizhou architecture. Especially in the aspect of showing the internal structure of thebuilding, two-dimensional display mode can’t make people intuitively understand,however, the virtual reality will play its unique advantages. Wuyuan County is a partof the ancient Huizhou, which retains many old Hui-style architecture. As a famoustourist attraction, Wuyuan County needed to accept large numbers of tourists everyday, it takes a lot of manpower and resources to protect ancient buildings each year.Chuck virtual tour may well ease the pressure of scenic area.This paper mainlyintroduces Huizhou architecture of Wuyuan, we select the folk house and archway inthree wonders of Huizhou buiding as the main target, let customers roam around thevirtual architecture to understand the architectural features of Huizhou architecturesuch as Ma Tau Wall、courtyard、gate tower、spier and so on. At the same time,customers can feel the characteristics of Huizhou architecture and the containedtraditional Chinese Confucian culture.The research of this paper is mainly composed of two parts. One is the study ofdigital three-dimensional visualization technology in Huizhou architecture. we mainlyuse the3Dsmax software platform, based on the detailed information of Huizhouarchitecture of Wuyuan, make the visualization model of building, make an in-depthstudy on the modeling, materials, UVW map and lighting technology. The other ismaking the study of digital virtual interactive technology in Huizhou architecture. TheUnity software platform, c#language technology have been used to realize theinteraction. This paper focuses on the realization of Virtual Tour of the Huizhou architectureof Wuyuan. In a real sensory world created by virtual reality technology, therelationship between architecture space and physical can be displayed verycomprehensively. It can be a vivid learning platform for the Huizhou scholars throughour researches.
