Index coding is a new variant of source coding scheme that attempts to exploitthe side information at diferent receivers to minimize the number transmissions to bebroadcasted by the source, so that each receiver can derive its intended data with itslocal side information. However, existing relevant research are focused on the capacityanalysis and algorithm design of index coding, while the transmission of index codesin the practical wireless system with erasure channel has not been considered. In thispaper, we consider the problem of scheduling the transmissions of index code in multi-carrier wireless systems, which is subject to frequency selective fading and frequencydependent attenuation across diferent receivers. This problem is nontrivial since dif-ferent index codes can be constructed given a side information graph, which is furthercomplicated by the diverse channel states at diferent receivers. To this end, we pro-pose the minrk2and clique-based index coding schemes, and design the correspondingscheduling algorithm according to the property of the index codes. Simulation resultsare provided to show that the proposed schemes can provide signifcant performancegainunderdiferentconditions. Inaddition, wealsostudiedthedistributionofthepow-er index coding, simulation experiment proved that even with the same coding schemeselected for scheduling the total power.
