Research On Technology Risk And Evaluation Method Of Mobile Payment

The industry chain of mobile payment is very complex，involvingfinancial institutions, telecommunications operators, terminal and chipmanufacturers, merchants. Identifying all aspects of technical security risks,analyzing the causes of security risks, risk prevention measures are verynecessary to research. This paper analysis the causes, specific forms andprevention measures of mobile payment risks. Taking mobile banking as anexample, this paper proposes risk assessment methods, evaluation model andscheme of mobile payment. As described above，either the same organizationevaluating their own system risks from longitudinal horizontal or regulatorybodies evaluating similar systems of different organizations，the abovemethod have a strong reference and guiding value.Firstly, on the basis of mobile payment risk research results of domesticand foreign, this paper summarize the classification of mobile payment andtechnical architecture. From business innovation, information technologyapplications point of view，this paper analysis the potential risks of mobilepayment technology causes, summarize all aspects of technical risks specificforms and the main measures of risk prevention from four aspects involvingthe mobile terminal, network communications, server, data security accordingto the technical architecture of mobile payment.Secondly, on the basis of risk assessment criteria and methods fromhome and abroad, the paper proposed a simple, practical and efficientquantitative risk rating models. Combined with the characteristics of mobilepayment, this paper concluded implementation methods of risk assessment, focusing on three key nodes involving client software, security chip,information systems.Finally, integrating of theory and practice，taking mobile banking forexample instance, this paper illustrates its risk assessment index formationprocess, the results of risk analysis and risk rating of implementation methods,which can contribute to the methodological guidance and decision of the riskmanagement of mobile payment.
