| With the fast development of Internet and communication technology,instant message has become one of the indispensable technologies in people’sdaily life. Instant Message can help convey message, voice and video etc. withquickness and convenience, establishing the bridge for communicationbetween human beings. With the background of mobile information explosion,instant messaging has been developing rapidly on the platform of smart devices.More and more commercial application modes have appeared, such aselectronic commerce, mobile payment, etc. However, the traditional instantmessaging technologies are lack of ways for valid information securityprotection. Those software security strategies for instant messaging are too farbehind to meet the high security demands in commercial fields. Therefore, ithas become a heated research topic how to improve the data privacy andcommunication reliability in instant messaging.In this paper, we will start from a general and specific SoC security chipcalled AC5, together with the main features of XMPP protocol, to present aresearch and design scheme for a secure instant messaging system withhardware protection. Under the premise of deeply researching into the instantmessaging technology and security encryption knowledge, this paper firstdesigns both the hardware and software architecture of the security chip basedon the high security demands of commercial field. We both study and realizethe BootLoader Program and COS firmware for the security chip, so as toprovide the hardware encryption protection basis for instant messaging. Moreover, this paper develops the Client/Server architecture of the instantmessaging system with dynamic link library in a smart way. By deeplyresearching into the security strategy and IM function modules for both theclient and server, we finally complete instant messaging system based on SoCsecurity chip. There are four parts that reflect the main operation and innovationin this paper:1. This paper creatively puts forward the SoC security chip based designscheme for a secure instant messaging system, which completely meetsthe demand for high information security of instant messaging.2. This paper researches and designs both the hardware and softwaredevelopment for the SoC security chip, which provides the data andinformation protection basis for high secure instant messaging.3. This paper researches and designs the client/server architecture for XMPPinstant messaging protocol, and realizes multiple secure funcitons for theSoC security chip based instant messaging system.4. This paper achieves the secure instant messaging system on Androidplatform, and together with detailed testing and verifying procedures.After the completion of the design and realization for a secure instantmessaging system, this paper adopts both the performance test for security chipand the functional test for the C/S architecture of the instant messaging system,which has proven the system’s high commercial security and reliability. Thus,this paper gains instructional meanings of fulfilling the requirements forinformation secutity of the instant messaging technology in mobile commercialfields. |
