Static electricity is the natural enemies of electronic products, the electrostaticperformance of electronic products not only directly related to the applicationenvironment of the product, good or bad performance, but also affected thecompany’s after-sales service and brand image, so the anti-static research has beenthe most important of electronic design. As the development of science andtechnology and the product complexity increases, ESD damage to electronic productshas been taken seriously increasingly.This study is mainly based on commonly used in mobile phone LCD displaymodules (LCM, Liquid Crystal Display Module), the anti-static methods andimprovements as the background. This article analyses the factors which can affectto the LCM static electricity performance detailed, chooses the best static electricitydesign proposal at the design period to avoid later design changes affect the processof practical engineering applications.This article enclosed with the anti-static design of liquid crystal displaymodule to launch the research work, first of all, based on the situation of home andabroad, do some investigation, study and analysis, understand current internationaland domestic technical level and the differences, review the development history ofelectrostatics; Then introduce the principle and test method of ESD detailed, andcarry on some overlapping experiments with different IC、LCD and other protectioncomponent after stockpiled the enough theory knowledge, thus obtained the actualdata of different ESD protection module design to the electrostatic induction;Through the analysis of experimental data, summarize the component characteristicof all the LCM parts and the design points of ESD protection design, enhance theESD interference rejection issue effectively, and fundamentally improving theanti-ESD ability of LCM. Finally introduce the ESD protection theory in practicalprojects, implement the research results into practice, guidance the product design.
