Design And Implementation Of Smart Home System Based On Windows Azure

Higher requirements have been put forward on family life as the quickdevelopment of technology, economy and other aspects. The concept of Smart Homegradually appeared in our views as people want their living environment moreautomated, more secure, more convenient, and more comfortable. However, thedevelopment of Smart Home is still in its infancy, so it is necessary to continuefurther research and development.This design of smart home system is divided into two parts, client and server. Theclient part achieves the communication with the USB₄716multi-function moduleand serial port, and with a temperature and humidity measurement of single chipmicrocomputer to test the serial port communication. The client part uses a Point Greycamera to realize the video monitoring function. The client and server implementinformation interaction with the HTTP protocol. The server of the system is deployedon the Windows Azure web site, so we can visit the web site through the browser, soas to realize the remote control function of the system. The client is developed by theWPF framework under the Visual Studio2010development platform, the maindevelopment language is C sharp, the server uses the ASP.NET MVC4.0frameworkand with Visual Studio2013preview for the development environment, the mainlanguage is C sharp. This system using the LPC1114microcontroller design andimplementation of a temperature and humidity measuring instrument, to facilitateusers to monitorthe indoor temperature and humidity situations.Windows Azure cloud service is taken in the Smart Home system in this study,and this method advantages are discussed in this article too. This paper has a goodreference in the research area of Smart Home, and it will promote the development ofSmart Home in our country.
