Cloud computing that brought by the progress of information technology isexpanding rapidly. The trade of service under cloud computing is a complex issue.The negotiation based on multi-agent under traditional environment could hardly meetthe need of service trade under cloud computing. Consequently, completing the tradebetween customers and service providers through effective negotiation becomes animportant direction of research.In order to adjust to the changes brought by cloud computing, we establish areasonable negotiation framework suitable for cloud computing based on analysis ofrelated articles and research achievements. We join intermediary agent into theframework to match the customers’ requirements with appropriate service suppliersbefore the negotiation. Then, we build reasonable negotiation workflow suitable forthe framework. We consider the above work as the basis of future research.The circumstance is complex under cloud computing, and there are manyinfluence factors in negotiation, so we propose a negotiation model based oncompetitiveness-time-history. The proposed model considers competiveness, time andopponents’ negotiation history during the process of negotiation. Based on theproposed negotiation model, in order to take advantage of negotiators’ bargainingposition and predict opponents’ proposal, we propose BRB strategy. Negotiators areallowed breaching of established contract when finding better proposals. By the abovework, the efficiency of negotiation may be improved.We use simulation software Matlab7.0and CloudSim to explain and verify theproposed model and strategy. We apply the BRB strategy to the ResourceAllocationexperiment model in CloudSim. Through the simulation experiments, we prove thatthe negotiation model and strategy under cloud computing we proved above couldeffectively promote the negotiation under cloud computing reach to expected results.Moreover, we prove that the trade under cloud computing is more effective than thetrade under traditional environment.This article’s research could promote the multi-agent based negotiation’sappliance under cloud computing, and could promote the agent combine thecharacteristic of cloud computing and use the favorable information duringnegotiation. Then, the negotiation would reach a good result. In a word, themulti-agent based negotiation will promote service trading achieving a satisfactoryresult under cloud computing.
