Along with the Internet technology is turned more and more sophisticated, thedata in the Internet has become more and more abundant. These massive datadistributed throughout the network. Because of the search engine doesn’t know thesemantic meaning of the data and it can only use the keyword matching technology insearch, the search result is often unsatisfactory. The main problem in the currentInternet is that it doesn’t understand the meaning of the data and it is only regarded asthe medium to store data.The concept of Semantic Web is presented in1998. Its idea is to make thecomputer to understand the meaning of the data and links them together so that manydata island will become a huge data network that it can provide better access servicefor user. With the rapid development of the Semantic Web in recent years, theresearchers are increasingly aware of some key issues in it: how to ensure queryefficiency over the massive RDF data, how to accelerate the accumulation rate of theRDF data, how to improve the utilization of RDF data.This paper firstly introduces the meaning to establish the storage platform formassive RDF data and the research status of RDF data storage and RDF dataapplications. Secondly, it introduces a variety of data storage and representationdatabase of RDF data and does a comparative analysis according to the requirementsof the storage platform for massive RDF data so that to select a appropriate databasefor platform. Then, it will elaborate the design of the query cache to improve thequery efficiency according to the RDF data characteristics and the RDF databasedefects. Finally, the data conversion mechanism, the synchronization mechanisms andthe visualization mechanisms will be designed in accordance with similarities anddifferences between RDF data and other mainstream data form.The research of this topic relates to the Semantic Web, Data Storage, DataSynchronization and other aspects. The Semantic Web will get many benefits throughthe establishment of the storage platform for massive RDF data. Firstly, theconversion process can be simplified between the RDF data and the other mainstreamdata form. On the one hand, it can accelerate the accumulation rate of Semantic WebData, on the other hand it opens up a pathway from data analysis for Semantic Webdata. Then, the platform provides a RDF data accumulation and applicationmechanism that including data crawling, data cleaning, data synthesis, data storage,data query and data export. In addition, the platform improved the query efficiency ofRDF data and provided users with better query experience by the researching anddesigning the query cache meet RDF data characteristics. In short, the storage platform for massive RDF data will play an important role in development ofSemantic Web.
