With the emergence and development high speed network, the traditionaltechnology of capturing data fail to meet the requirements of capturing a largenumber of packets and processing these data. Therefore, capturing efficiency,utilization of cpu, hardware resources and so on have been the major issue of research.Thanks to the advent of PF_RING mechanism, these issues have improved. BesidesPF_RING technology keeps updated with the development of hardware. The authorwill study this mechanism in-depth and apply it in the monitoring system of ChinaMobile services business.The author of thesis introduces the background and the applications of themonitoring system and the technology of capturing data. The thesis also have beenanalyzed some technology about capturing data. After a thorough analysis andcomparison, PF_RING+DNA mechanism are preferred to be used in monitoringsystem. Finally, the author analyzes another two modules of the monitoring system,decoding module and analyzing data module in the thesis, the module of decodingdata mainly rely on wireshark, and the module of analyzing data rely onreinforcement learning to achieve flow forecasting capabilities and comply them. Themain contents of this thesis include:Firstly, the author introduces the background of monitoring system aboutbusiness and its application, as well as the background of the technology of capturingdata,a simple analysis of PF_RING mechanism.Secondly, the thesis gives a brief introduction to the related technologies ofcapturing data. Then the author introduces the PF_RING protocol families and itsdata structures.Thirdly, the author introduces the design of the system of monitoring system.Fourthly, after comparison and analysis of three application modes of F_RING+NAPI, PF_RING+TNAPI, PF_RING+DNA, PF_RING+DNA are preferred to beused as the system. After modification and improvement,PF_RING+DNA can beused in the capturing module of monitoring system. At last the author introduces theother modules: data decoding and data analyzing. At last, the author tests the new PF_RING+DNA and compare the result withother the results of the technology of capturing data: PF_RING+TNAPI,PF_RING+DNA. In the end the author gives the images of the system.
