Research On Steganography Technology And Technical Implementation In Secure Steganography

Information Hiding has deeply applied in many computer technology domains. Wtih fast developing of Internet, the demands to security of communication and copright protection is becoming more and more urgent.Different from cryptology, information hiding is not to get the information confused,but to hide the existence of information and therefore it can convey the secrets imperceptibly.Under this condition, using information hiding on Internet is getting more popular.The research on steganographic arithmetic is also becoming very important, which used in pictures and videos as the covers.Nowadays, the steganography technology mostly used pictures as the research object, and this technology is through a huge changing today. JPEG format images is commonly used for delivering and storing digital images due to its efficiency in data storage,quality of compressed image.It is also becoming the best choice to use it as cover images in steganography. Steganography technology using JPEG format images is more and more popular,as JSteg、F5、Outguess have got more application.This paper also pay more attention to steganography technology on JPEG format images.Steganalysis, standing at the opposite of steganography, has been growing up though. But as developing,it is more and more efficient and can tell if JPEG format images were embedded in secret messages. In this paper, we describe a steganography arithmetic based on JPEG format images.Many tests are performed to value the quality and capability of this arithmetic.
