The technology of the power spectrum estimation is one of the most important part inspectrum estimation field.This technology is very important not only in military field but alsoin civilian field.The resolution of the classic power spectrum estimation algorithm is low, andlow recognition rate of some problems have been difficult to solve;But modern powerspectrum estimation algorithm due to the very large amount of calculation, it is difficult toapply to the real-time field.Due to t he recent ten years in the field of computer technologyand the hardware and software evolution and development became the turning point of themodern power spectrum estimation algorithm and makes modern power spectrum algorithmcan implement platform.Estimation metioned below regards to the power spectrum of the classic power spectrumestimation method and modern power spectrum estimation method in the current mainstreammethods conducted a series of analysis and simulation research,Through meticulous studyafter comparing points out the classic power spectrum estimation method and modern powerspectrum estimation method for spectral estimation in the process of their respectiveadvantages and disadvantages。Modern power spectrum estimation algorithm of Burg algorithm has fine frequencyresolution, and of course the price is the increase of computational complexity, and Burgalgorithm in time as the initial phase of signal and estimate order problems, tend to cause linecrack and spurious signals.Aiming at the shortcoming existings existing in the Burgalgorithm,this paper puts forward s kind of modifield algorithm which based on traditionalBurg algorithm.Due to the error of the coefficient,the traditional Burg algorithm can not getexactly coefficient reflection.In this paper add weighted arithmetic which made the coefficientreflection very exactly and the frequency resolution is improved at the same time,what’s morethe addition also lowered the Burg algorithm depends on the initial phase of input signal.Finally this article through simulation and analysis of the data collected by machine, thearticle compared Burg algorithm before and after improvement,proved that the improvedBurg algorithm on spectrum estimation can obtain better results.
