With the development of electric power industry and the adjustment of powerstructure, boiler turbine has become the main force units in our country’s development ofthe power industry. Because of its lower cost and higher efficiency, this unit has astronger competitiveness in the electricity market. Coordinated control system is themain control system of once through boiler turbine power generation technology and itscontrol technology is an important part of the boiler, it closely relates with the safety,stability, economy of the units.Therefore it has theoretical significance and applicationvalue to research once-through boiler and turbine coordinate system control strategy, andto optimize the coordination system dynamic performance.This paper mainly discusses the application of model reference adaptive control inthe coordinated control of once-through boiler and turbine in unit. It studies the controlobject, which is three inputs and three outputs control model. Its inputs are fuel, turbinevalve opening and feed water quantities; the outputs are main steam pressure, power andintermediate point enthalpy. According to the given set of complex model,Firstly,we usefeed-forward compensation decoupling at it and apply the coordinated control oftraditional model reference adaptive control in the decoupling units. The tests show thatthe outputs of the system have good results. Because the conventional adaptive algorithmis robust less to the parameter drift. The paper use a system adaptive algorithm whichcan improve the robustness of the system to the unit coordinated controls system. Andthe simulation is carried out on Matlab/simulink. Simulation results show that the controlsystem has well control performance and it can improve the dynamic and staticcharacteristics of the system.
