Design And Implementation Of Scheduling System In North China Electric Power University Science&Technology College

Scheduling system is not only an important and complex business, but also a key in theuniversity educational management work. For many universities, research and implementationof scheduling system is very meaningful.The object-oriented programming ideas is used for scheduling system. The classroom,classes, teachers, curriculum and course arrangement of this event as an object by means ofSQL2000database, Java language and SWT plug-ins complete the development of the system.Based on the ideas, present situation as well as the algorithm based on domestic andinternational timetabling problem is introduced in this paper. This paper has carried on theanalysis to the course timetabling problem from requirements, constraints and database. It givesthe designing methods and ideas of course scheduling system. Secondly, the scheduling problemof the database and algorithm is analysis and designed. And then the optimal arrangement ofcourses system is given. Finally, administrators, students and teachers of various functionalmodules can be achieved. Testing of the system showed that the course schedulingsystem can improve the real course scheduling personnel scheduling efficiency and managevarious objects. In this system, the most important function is to realize the course scheduling. Ithas achieved that the teaching secretary sign-on system can row of class and to teachers andcurriculum arrangement, and the teacher as well as students after entering the system can queryits own curriculum, which can be convenient for teaching the management, also is convenientfor teachers and students to control their course.Practice has proved that this system can realize the course arrangement and meetthe requirements provided by browser and device structure of online scheduling. The systemworks very well, and it realizes the function of the automatic course scheduling system ofInstitute of science and technology of North China Electric Power University. It is of somereferential value for the improvement of educational management.
