RFID (Radio Frequency Identification, RFID) technology is a kind of automatic Identification technology that uses Radio Frequency spectrum in recognition and data exchange of non-contact two-way communication. According to the radio frequency tag data modulation mode, we can divided it into active tags and passive tags. Compared with the passive RFID, active RFID technology has some advantages:such as communication distance, large capacity of data Read and write speed, etc. In recent years, with the development of IC technology and the cost being reduced, active RFID has become a research hot spot, however, tag anti-collision algorithm and security authentication protocol design is still the two key technologies of active RFID technology research, as well as a research hot topic. This paper mainly aims at the active tags anti-collision problems of recognition and anti-counterfeiting security of the system. It focuses on the following aspects:(1) Elaborate the research background and significance, analyzing the current situation of the development of RFID, RFID collision algorithm research progress and the research progress of security authentication protocol. Then, introduce the basic composition and working principle of RFID system and data integrity and security of details thoroughly. At last, make some concrete analysis of three typical performance and characteristics of active RFID anti-collision algorithm.(2) An Energy-Based Clustering (EBC) active anti-collision mechanism is proposed. This mechanism is classified by the power of the reader receives the transmission of active tags size, and the distance to the reader the active tags around the cluster. The distance of the label in each cluster is emitted by adjusting the reader receives from the tag identification and was recognized by the energy of the signal strength. Based on existing active collision mechanism of EBC fusion algorithm simulation, the result shows that the anti-collision algorithm based on the mechanism of EBC effectively improves the throughput of active RFID system. Furthermore, it can significantly reduce the system average transmission delay if the system volume is large. (3) An active RFID security authentication mechanism with the function of anti-collision is proposed. The protocol is based on the existing security authentication mechanism, which is combined with the design of active anti-collision algorithm. Through collision performance comparison and safety analysis, it shows that the collision function of active RFID security authentication protocol can not only effectively solve the problem of tag collision, but also ensure the security of the system.
