Design And Implementation Of IT Project Management System Based On MVC

With the development of the software industry, how to better management of IT projects became an important problem for many software companies, and IT project management software has become an effective tool. In this paper, in order to meet the needs of GLD Company, we developed an IT Project Management System based on MVC (GPMS). Meanwhile, during the design and development process of GPMS, we also achieve a flexible, scalable and short development cycle PHP development framework which we called Gldphp.In this project, the author mainly involved in the design and implementation of development framework, and in charge of the design and implementation work for statistical analysis module, document management module and system expansion modules such as the three main modules. In the design and implementation of development framework, the author mainly involved in architecture design, model class and DAO class design framework to achieve a passive MVC mode, data read and write and type conversion functions, SQL statements for secondary packaging. In the statistical analysis module, the author designed and produced a corresponding data reports and charts, performance management and evaluation to provide data management support. In the document management module, the author designed and implemented document browsing function, document creation function and evaluation mechanisms evaluation mechanisms to improve the quality of documentation and developer documentation written motivation.In expansion module, the author realized the API extension mechanism and WebService, left for future integration interfacesCurrently, GPMS has been in trial operation in GLD Company, which combined the GLD’s existing project management system and project management principles together, realizing the management of the products and projects, making the original various functions in different systems into a single system, raising the level of project management, reducing work stress of operational support staff and the R&D program delays. The Gldphp framework is also used among the actual project of GLD Company, on the base of a guaranteed performance, this development framework can significantly reduce the workload of programmers, improve code quality.
