Since the reform and opening up, the global economy, the impact of informationtechnology, China’s coal industry, which reported the economic environment hasundergone many changes. Media reported that the Group faces competition both fromdomestic counterparts and related industries, but also from foreign advancedmanagement ideas and philosophy. How to face the challenges of the media industryhas become China reported an unavoidable problem. Use of information technology,automation reform of media enterprises, the establishment of Media Group, the mediaenterprise restructuring and mechanisms to accelerate innovation, and activelyparticipate in international media competition has become the only way for thedevelopment of China’s media industry forward.Through access to relevant documents and information, the study of the valuechain theory scholars conducted and summarized and analyzed the value chain of thenewspaper group’s composition, characteristics and influencing factors. On this basis,using the case study method, Hunan Daily Newspaper Group value chain for the study,Survey Research Group of industrial development, combined with the theory of thevalue chain, value chain of the Group’s internal and external value chain activitieswere analyzed and found in Hunan Daily Newspaper Group value chain managementalso exists: the lack of effective links of the value chain, operating efficiency fro, theinformation level is not high, the value of the degree of innovation activities need tobe improved and a series of problems, the analysis of these issues, based on coreresources to carry out diversification, enhance value creation as the guiding ideology,according to the principles of integrity, principle of steady expansion, resource meritprinciple, the principle of encouraging innovation, Hunan Daily Newspaper Groupvalue chain reconstruction, reconstruction of the main ways are: for Newspaper Groupintegrated vertical integration, horizontal diversification consolidation, virtualinformation integration, and finally to ensure the smooth progress of Hunan DailyNewspaper Group value chain reconstruction, made four safeguards.Full-text consists of five chapters, the first chapter introduces the researchbackground and significance, research status, purpose and methods of research,focusing on the status of research-related issues. The second chapter introduces thetheory of the value chain, value chain of the newspaper group to resolve and analyzeits impact factor.
